This week, Android developers from around the world have made the pilgrimage to Boston for AnDevCon.
With a deep history of working with Android developers, we here at Applause are proud sponsors of the conference, and our Vice President Damian Roskill is presenting a technical class this morning on the importance of user POV in developing and launching high-quality apps. All of which makes the timing of some big, Android-related news that much more exciting.
We’re pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership with Intel. Through this partnership, Applause testing services will become accessible to developers utilizing Intel’s Android Developer Zone.
Android developers on Intel’s site will now be directed to Applause Testing Services where they will find information for real-world testing for web, desktop, mobile and wearable apps across the entire product lifecycle, including functional, usability, load and localization testing.
Needless to say we’re excited to join Intel in helping Android developers launch high-quality apps that work as intended in the hands of users. Android devices are increasingly powered by Intel processors. With our global community of more than 140,000 professional testers in 200 countries and territories around in the world, we can help ensure that mobile apps on these devices are performing up to the high Intel standard for every user, everywhere, every time.
So, if you’re headed over to AnDevCon in Boston, we hope you stop by the Applause booth (#601, by the way) and that you check out what Intel has to offer at the conference as well. And if you’re an Android aficionado, check out our resources and learn more about launching great apps your users love.
